About the Event
Join Mr. Klein to learn why our country is exhausted from major wars in the Middle East. The first session will focus on where we are today with the US involvement in the Middle East, and we will look at the colonial roots of the Middle East conflict going back to the First World War and its aftermath. The second session will focus on the trajectory of the US involvement in the Middle East from the 1930’s and 40’s through the Cold War and up to today; the role of US support for Israel in the region and its politics at home.
